Verify that you are plugging your AudioBox into a USB 2.0 port, not a USB 3.0 port. For laptops, please check your computer's USB diagrams and see if it has a USB 2.0 port.Ĥ. The USB ports on the front of your computer may be a simple distributed hub, not true USB ports.

Make sure that you have plugged the AudioBox into your computer before you start Studio One. Check that you are using a USB cable shorter than 9 feet (~3 meters).ģ. If you are using a desktop computer (not a laptop), please reinstall the driver on a USB port on the back of the system. Universal Control is the delivery system for our drivers per our hardware. This guide, while written for PreSonus Studio One, should generally apply to most current DAW software. Reconnect the power connector to the dock, then plug the dock PSU into an electrical outlet.If you can't get a recording or playback signal to pass through your AudioBox, or if you can't get recording to engage in your DAW (digital audio workstation) software, check for the common situations below. Reset the dock PSU by unplugging it from the power outlet and waiting 5 seconds. Unplug your Surface Dock from the power connector on the back of the dock. If you’re still having issues with your Surface Dock, you can reset it by doing the following: To troubleshoot network issues on Surface Dock, see Fix Ethernet connection problems in Windows. Your Surface Dock comes equipped with a standard gigabit ethernet port. Check your audio connectionsĭisconnect and reconnect your audio cables and ensure they are securely connected.ĭisconnect and reconnect your Surface Dock connect cable.Įnsure your speakers are plugged in to an electrical outlet and turned on.įor all other audio issues, see Troubleshoot Surface sound and audio accessories. Note: In some cases, when an audio device like a headset or speaker is connected to the 3.5mm jack, the audio device may not be detected right away. Disconnect the Surface Connect cable, then reconnect it to re-detect audio devices. If you have accessories that draw power from your Surface Dock or Surface, remove them and see if your Surface charges.

If you're using a Surface Dock: If the Surface device battery is empty, first charge it using the power supply that came with the device for a few minutes before trying to charge with the Surface Dock again.
